JM is a landscaping firm first — gardens, hard landscaping and grounds work make up most of what we do. Alongside it we run two specialist divisions, fixing rebar and installing insulation for builders and homeowners who want one number to call.
What we do
Most clients come to us for the garden and grounds work. The other two divisions grew out of it, because the same jobs kept needing steel in the ground and insulation in the walls.
Design, build and upkeep for gardens, driveways and commercial grounds. We handle the whole job — levels, drainage, hard surfaces and planting — rather than leaving you to line up four trades.
Steel fixing and reinforcement for slabs, foundations and retaining structures — from single-plot extensions to small commercial pours.
Thermal and acoustic insulation fitted properly — no gaps, no compressed batts, no cold bridges left behind the plasterboard.
How a job runs
We come out, walk the site with you and take the measurements and levels we need. Free, and usually within the week.
An itemised price covering labour, materials and access — so you can see what each part of the job costs.
A confirmed start date and a realistic run of work. You get told who is turning up and when.
We clear the site, walk it with you and sort anything that isn't right before we invoice.

About JM
The landscaping came first. The rebar and insulation came because our own sites kept needing them, and the subcontractors kept letting us down.
So we trained for it and brought both in-house. Today the majority of our turnover is still garden and grounds work — that's the trade we know best and the one we're judged on. The other two divisions run alongside it, doing the same kind of job for other builders: turn up when we said, do it properly, leave the site clean.
If you are a homeowner, you will mostly deal with the landscaping side. If you are a contractor, you will probably be calling about steel or insulation. Either way it is the same office and the same people.
